Enjoy Hike in Shady Santa Ynez Canyon, Pacific Palisades

There aren’t many shady hikes in the Los Angeles area, so it’s valuable to know where any of them are.

There’s a great short hike in the Pacific Palisades in Santa Ynez Canyon where the trails are covered by wonderful shade trees.

Great views and workout at Los Liones Trail

It’s a wonderful time of the year to hit the trail up to the panoramic views at Los Liones¬† trail in the Pacific Palisades.¬† The views are great, especially up at the Parker Mesa Overlook, and the workout up the trail is just as heart pumping as it’s ever been!

Hondo Canyon Trail. Fantastic scenery on hike along shaded trail.

Don’t miss this hike on Hondo Canyon Trail. It’s got wonderful views of rock formations and the canyon as you traverse this long mostly shaded trail.
